Not all DRoH Dogs are listed on our website. New intake dogs are first presented to approved adopters and often get adopted.  We recommend any serious adopter applies to adopt and gets in the DRoH approved adopter queue so they will see the newest dogs as they arrive.

Lily Mouse had a ruff life before coming to DROH, but all that is behind her now and she is such a grateful, sweet little girl. ​She is working on her crate training and her house training as well as socialization with other dogs in her foster home.  She prefers to be right next to her favorite person whether on the sofa or in the bed and lives for belly rubs. In true dachshund form, she loves to burrow under the blankets and sheets until she finds that perfect resting spot. This sweet girl is a champ on a leash and really loves to take walks. She seems to be a fast learner, as she learned quickly how to use doggy stairs to get on and off the sofa and bed and the doggy door to go outside. She can be a little protective of her person sometimes but with the proper training she will be a friend to all she meets. Lily is waiting for you to shower her with attention and love and in return she will be a perfect companion.
